fangasmicI have gone too long, fangasmic fans, without showing you the magical things I have found on del.icio.us! They are so magical I'm sure you'll be tempted to try pulling rabbits out of hats after reading this. Or pull your hair out. Whatever makes you happy.
I am only ever more grateful that the Merlin kink meme isn't the same pit that the Supernatural kink meme is, so instead of 80 stories about bedwetting and water sports, this week I only came across two. I totally get wanting to make Merlin cry, just not, you know, yellow.
The saddest part about this rec is that it sounds just like a regular episode of Criminal Minds. I frequently discuss this show with an innocent bystander, and her boyfriend can only make it about three minutes before screaming WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO WATCH THIS SHOW?!?!?!
The good news is that sometimes after struggling through 5 pages of bedwetting Merlin and prison exhibitionism noncon, someone will post something like this and I will remember how amazing Psych is, and how desperate I am for the new season. Or even for season 4 to be out on DVD and in my living room.
That would be the exact moment someone reminds me that I am a terrible person who reads these books for the ultra pure love of Temeraire/Laurence. <3
Shows that embody things people are looking for in fandom: NCIS. I could give you a list of episodes that feature these tropes, but instead I will just say this: watch the first two seasons on loop.
OH GOD, WHY. WHYYYYYYYY. That is not magic, ladies! That is EPIC PAIN. Pain and possibly an uncomfortably accurate reflection of fandom.
