[trailers] Live Every Week Like It's Shark Week

You might remember that previously we discussed the SyFy channel's cinematic (on the small screen) masterpiece, Sharktopus. Now obviously it must be nigh-impossible to top that work of incredible genius, but we would like to present one possibility:

Is it possible that DINOSHARK is a classier Sharktopus? We're not sure, as the trailer is not quite as impressive as the Sharktopus trailer, but fangasmic fans, we leave this one to you: call it. Dinoshark or Sharktopus?

I- I actually think Dinoshark wins. I think it wins because it's trying to be Sharktopus and fails. It fails at being as awesome, and at being as terrible, and at being so terrible it's awesome. You have to respect that much failure. Plus, making Eric Balfour try to play Bruce Willis... that's just mean. I just want to cuddle him.

Also, they cap the whole trailer off with the Wilhelm Scream. That's like, 100 million automatic geek points right there.

Wow. That trailer is gold. It's like I saw the whole movie.

As to which wins, Dinoshark or Sharktopus, I have to say both because of one connecting factor: Roger Corman. Dude is still out there rounding up all the b-movie actors who need health insurance and putting them to work, bless him.
