[holidays] The Best of TV Christmas Episodes 2010
It's a surprising mix this year, guys. Most tv shows do a Christmas/holiday episode before the break (if Numb3rs were still on we could have a cool Hanukkah episode) and some of them are terrifying. Super terrifying. Like I debated whether or not I should watch Criminal Minds this week in case it was a Christmas episode and decided not to do it. Because if it was a Christmas episode? It might ruin Christmas.
But here are some things that did not ruin Christmas. In fact, here are my picks for Best TV Christmas Episodes of 2010 (excluding anything made in previous years).
Leverage
Parker just loves Christmas so much, okay?

And we love Parker. Plus, of course the team has to save Christmas and help Santa. That is what they do. It's an adorable episode of Leverage with one of my favourite guest stars. You should definitely watch this one.

Oh yes. Also, Elliot dresses up as Santa to infiltrate a group of Santas. Love it.
Hawaii Five-0
Unsurprisingly, this is our favourite new show, and the Christmas episode didn't fail to deliver awesome fights, tension, and oh yes, an island full of gay.

Prepare to freak out because Chin has a bomb-collar on and if he moves, he could take out three blocks in a single blow. Also Chin is super hot the whole episode, and Danny, Steve, and Kono all pull together to kick ass and take names.

Seriously, I almost cried.
And then at the end, Steve and Danny exchanged a SUPER MARRIED LOOK OF LOVE. <3<3<3

Eureka
Yeah, I said it. Eureka. I know, we've pretty much stopped watching this show because it got pretty terrible, but trust me. This year's Christmas episode? AMAZING. Stuck in Eureka instead of visiting family out of town. Carter entertains some peeved children with the story of the year Santa appeared in Eureka with a malfunctioning sleigh (sort of) and shit got real.

Best use of Christmas music in a chase scene? Check. Best use of fruitcake as a plot device? Check. Best Secret Santa on three different levels? Check check check.

I know, we were surprised too, but it was amazing.
Of course Christmas Special season isn't over, and I didn't actually watch Criminal Minds out of sheer terror, but hey, I'm buying presents and stuff; I can't watch them all. Tell us what your favourite new holiday special was this year in the comments!
