I feel like America's Next Top Model needs to be re-branded. Sure, it's reality television and the producers are all about drama, but oh my god. Alasia?

The judges agree: Alasia takes a beautiful picture.

She does! And at judging she generally appears to be sweet. But the real Alasia? DANGER, WILL ROBINSON. This girl is trouble! You can watch her interview if you want, and she seems normal enough for an ANTM contestant (read: not very, but what the hey). She's even wearing glasses and has some wicked hair, so I liked her right away!

But please note the warning signs.

"I'm 18, people expectin' me to be all up in the drama and causin' stuff, like, I'm not like that at all."

Alasia. Alasia said she isn't "all up in the drama". I don't know how often you look up the definition of clinical insanity but psychopathy is generally described as a "clinical lack of empathy combined with strongly amoral conduct, masked by an ability to appear outwardly normal", someone missing "the very qualities that allow a human being to live in social harmony". Okay, fine, [personal profile] stopitsomemore, that describes almost everyone who has ever been on any reality show ever, but Alasia is a special case. Alasia has a special relationship with reality where you say "The sky is blue, please pass me some icecream" and she responds by screaming at you for twelve minutes about how you ain't respectin' her an' shit. At the top of her lungs. In an enclosed space.

Alasia is that special kind of crazy where some of the other girls are willing to write it off as her being 18 years old and immature. Now personally, my parents sent me off to be analyzed when I was ten and you can bet that in the ages before that or since I have never been as badly in need of professional help as Alasia is right this minute.

"Viewers might be surprised that I'm not as innocent as I seem. I'm kind of a bad girl, I got into a lot of trouble when I was younger!"

So what she's telling us is that the entire state of Georgia saw this girl was going to be trouble and shipped her to New York to be put on international television. Thanks, Georgia. Thanks a lot. Now I have the constant problem of wanting to send this girl a invitation to an "interview" that sounds like a Go-See but is actually, you know, a meeting with a mental health professional who will have seen tapes of Alasia's behaviour ahead of time.

Go to minute 1:13! Oh god, Alasia--

It's not make up, she has crazy eyes all the time.

I just need a medical professional to tell her, "Girl, you crazy."

"SHUT THE FUCK UP TALKIN' TO ME!!" Indeed, Alasia. I love her, but it helps that the other girls this cycle are so annoying that I'm actually rooting for her to shank them in their beds.
