If you've been following our Doctor Who posts here at Fangasmic you know that we're still kind of luke-warm over the 11th Doctor and the new series. Or rather,

But this week? This was the first episode post-Rory and it was so depressing that the BBC actually interrupted the credits not to talk about when you could watch Doctor Who: Confidential but to let you know that if you were contemplating suicide after that episode they actually had a help line and website set up to talk you out of it.
Think about that for a little while, friends. I mean maaaaybe it's because that episode had the most surprisingly accurate and poignant portrayal of mental illness that we've seen on TV in a while-- but no, we know the truth. It's really because that's how terrible this season is-- even the BBC knew it might drive people to a dark place.
