Obviously, the producers of Victorian Gay Sherlock Holmes, RDJ/Jude Law flavor took a gander at Modern Day London Fetishist Gay Sherlock Holmes, Cumberbach/Freeman flavor and thought, "Okay, we have to outdo them on casting Mycroft," because OH MY BEAUTIFUL ASS GOD GUYS, they have coerced Stephen Fry into playing Mycroft Holmes for the next film.

In many ways, Mark Gatiss and Stephen Fry are very similar. They are both English. They will both play Mycroft Holmes in productions of Sherlock Holmes that will finally interest people who are too lazy to read books. They both apparently enjoy tarting it up like ladies sometimes, although Gatiss managed to do his at the Old Vic while Stephen did this for Esquire. Because he's a whore. Also, I am not making up that part about Colin Morgan being in the Gatiss play. I could not make that shit up if my entire life depended on it.
