Here from metafandom. I had not heard about this, but I think you have summarized the issue and the reactions very intelligently. Although I don't read it very much anymore, SGA storyfinders is the reason I got my LJ account years ago, and more than any other storyfinder site, it is fun to read. Your bully analogy is dead on.
