So. Apparently Lucasfilm is developing a Star Wars comedy series. Aside from the fact that my knee-jerk reaction was to say, "What, Attack of the Clones wasn't supposed to be funny?" I have to say it is kind of hard to type, since it is difficult to see through the tears streaming forth from my fucking eyes. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, GEORGE LUCAS? WAS THE AGONY OF THE STAR WARS CHRISTMAS SPECIAL NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU? I know that on the alt.lols mailing list you and Eric Kripke and Chris Carter and JJ Abrams hang around it's been discussed -- I am sure extensively, with liberal asides from Sera Gamble -- about how fanboy and fangirl tears make the best lube, but come the fuck on, dude. If you think that this 70 minute Phantom Menace takedown is brutal, think about how he's going to respond to Obi-Wan Kenobi's puns.
